We welcomed the new and old staff and had orientation programme for the teachers.  Dr.Sr. Marsiana, Principal of the college welcomed the staff and discussed about the yearly mandate.

21.07.2010   :
Re- opening of the B.Ed. programme:  Inauguration of the B.Ed course, was started with the Eucharistic celebration by Rev. Fr. Ambrose.  Then Dr.Sr. Marisana welcomed the student teachers with her cordial words.

22.07.2010      to       26.07.2010      :
Bridge course was conducted on life skills for student teachers.

28.07.2010      :
Unanimously our student teachers under the guidance of      Dr. Sr. Marsiana elected their president, secretary and group leaders.

05.08.2010      :
The management had the first Governing Body Meeting for the year.  The new staff were asked to introduce themselves to the members of the board.

06.08.2010      :
College Fellowship day was celebrated under the presidentship of  Rev. Fr. Albert Muthumalai.

10.08.2010      :
Our College remembered and highlighted the maxims of our foundress.

12.08.2010      to     13.08.2010 :
Our student teachers were filled with the skill of guidance and  counselling by Sr. Selva.

Student teachers were trained in new methods of ABL & ALM by Mrs. Portia from BRT centre.

Our college celebrated the 3rd Annual Sports meet. Dr. P.S. Chandrakumar, Director of J.J. College of Education presided over the Sports meet.

Our student teachers remembered their Teacher Educators with love and gratitude by celebrating Teachers’ day.

We celebrated youth year.  Rev. Fr. Charles highlighted the day  with his thought provoking speech.

Our congregational feast was celebrated in a grand manner.

Wild life week celebration was organized by our Bio. Science students.

Our student teachers went to different schools in and around Trichy for their intensive Teaching Practice.

Inaugural Function of the New Building :  Most Rev.Dr. Antony Devota, Bishop of our Diocese blessed the New building.  Sr. Lourdu  Adaikala Samy, the provincial opened the building.  Sisters from different houses and special invities increased the joy of celebration by their presence.

We had a unique experience of wishing our Christ child and celebrated Christmas.

We celebrated Tamil New Year and Pongal.  We all gathered infront of our New Building and prepared pongal and distributed it to all the members present.

Sr. Jansi presented a paper an Implementation of New strategies in Teaching and learning of science education at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan college of Education in Perambalur.

Sr. Anto & Miss. Jeya Sudha attended National Conference on Rejuvenating  Intellectual curiosity Among Teacher Educators, Stella Matituna College of Education in Chennai.

Miss. Jeya Sudha and Miss. Sangeetha attended and presented paper in State Level Seminar on Human Rights in Education at SAS college of Education in Trichy.

Retreat for students and staff:  Rev. Fr. Ambrose & Rev. Fr. Joseph Rosario led the participants to the mood of prayer and Reflection.

Excursion to Kodaikanal.  It was interesting and we had thrilling experience.  We enjoyed the day with nature.

02.03.2011   to       06.03.2011
C.T camp:   Dr. Irudaya Raj , HRD from St. Joseph’s College presided over the inaugural function.  Various activities on different fields were conducted.  For every item, the eminent personalities were invited.  On 6th the valedictory function was held.

12.03.2011   :
We celebrated Alumnae Association, and Graduation day.  Dr. Veeramani, Registrar, Tamil Nadu Teachers’ Education University, Chennai , presided over the graduation day and distributed degrees to the student teachers.

21.03.2011   :
We celebrated our III college day.  It was grand Fr. Britto presided over the function.
