The results were published. The pass percentage is 93.Eight students out of hundred got above 1000 marks. Selvi A.Anitha (Mathematics) got 1034 out of 1200. J.Breen Vadhani (Mathematics) and A.Jeyarani (History) got 1031marks.

Rev. Sr. Eugene D’ Souza, the Mother General, Sr. Caroline the General counselor and Sr. Lourdu Adaikalasamy the provincial of Trichy province visited our B.Ed., College. It was a moment of grace and joy. A discussion was held in JJ College of Education, Ammapattai, Trichy, on “Integrated B.Ed., course is a boon or bane”. Dr.Sr. Marciana the Principal, Sr. Anto the principal in-charge participated and our student teachers P. Lakshmi and Susan Bridget had contributed their views.

Inauguration of Citizenship Camp by Dr.Viji, NCC officer in Holy Cross College. She gave the inaugural address. The resource persons during the camp days were Dr.BalaKrishnan who spoke on the importance of communication. Dr. Finita Roy explained about Personality development, Rev. Fr. Michael spoke on Legal rights for women and Dr. Malar vizhi spoke on Family welfare and childcare. Dr.Shandhini, Physical Directress of Stella Matutina College of Education gave a demonstration on ‘Aerobics’. Dr. Thangamani and Dr. Navaneetham were invited for a free medical camp for our students.

International Women’s day was celebrated with differently abled children at ‘Blossoms opportunity school’. Our student teachers enacted a meaningful skit and conducted many competitions for the differently abled children. Rev. Sr. Lucy kutty Mathew SCC gave away the prizes.

A historic day for the Holy Cross College of Education. As per the plan of God, the foundation stone was laid for the construction of B.Ed., College of education. It was blessed by Rev. Fr. Victor Sundaruraj from Salem Diocese. Mrs. J. Mathaleenal Physical Directress of Holy Cross College of Education attended the Zonal level general body meeting held at Lakshmi College of education, Gandhigram.

Requirements for Admission – Attested Xerox copies of the X, XII, Certificates, Degree certificates, mark sheets of B.A., B.Sc., M.A., M.Sc., and M. Com., T.C and Community Certificate should be submitted along with the filled in application form on or before 25th June 2010.
